The Petroleum Exploration and Production Association of New Zealand (PEPANZ)
is an incorporated society, operating as a trade association, which promotes
the interests of petroleum producers and explorers in New Zealand. Formerly
known as PEANZ (Petroleum Exploration Association of New Zealand), the
association was renamed in late 2004 to reflect the fact that the membership
included most of the hydrocarbon producing companies in New Zealand.
WHOM
DOES IT REPRESENT?
PEPANZ was set up to represent private sector companies which hold petroleum
exploration and mining permits, and service companies and individuals
working in the industry.
